asset-generation
Generate images from text prompts using the Gemini API.
Setup
1. Get a Gemini API key
- Go to Google AI Studio
- Create a new API key
2. Configure the key
Add to your .env.tools file in the project root:
GEMINI_API_KEY=your_key_here
Make sure .env.tools is in your .gitignore — never commit API keys.
3. Verify it works
node asset-generation/scripts/generate-image.mjs \
--prompt "a simple blue circle on white background" \
--output assets/test.png
Usage
node asset-generation/scripts/generate-image.mjs \
--prompt "description of the image" \
--output assets/my-image.png
